Default Asking for advice (changing oil)

Hi, I’ve changed my own oil before but I just want to know if the way I’m doing it will get all the old oil out.

So, in driveway, I jack up one side on front and put a jack stand under. Then, I do the same on the other side so the front end is now sitting jack stands.

My question is , when I take the oil pan bolt out to drain the old stuff, is it going to get all the old oil out, since the car isn’t level? Or does the car need to be level, like on a lift?

thanks…..!

That's how I did it for years. No issues there.

Thanks. After posting this, I realized there was another post similar to mine already answered. The response was the same. Other than a couple people saying you won’t get all oil out, most agreed that it will work fine and the bolt is in the back at an angle anyways.
