Default ask long as it works right?...

i wanana get a short shifter, n i'm not sure wat really to get. i have a honda civic hb 91 si....apc sells them hella cheapfor about $15.00.....but i'm sayin if its shorter than the stock shifter then its good right?...but becausewat i really want is the b&m or the dc short shifter ....but wat yaa recomend?

they are pretty much all the same. just dont try to shift to fast or your mess up your trans.

they may have the same design but i garuntee you a 200$ c's shifter and a 20$ autozone shifter are not the same.

Becareful what you buy. Not every short shifter is good. Mine for instance is a Tenzo R, it sucks but it came with the car. Once, it broke, I put new threads on it and now I have a short shifter extreme. Find one that is not aluminum. Get a steel one.

i snapped an obx one i bought a few years back, imo just learn to speed shift with the stock shifter. either that or a B&M stainless steel ss

I just put a B&M on my friends 2000 Si. Now that thing is tough. Probably weighs 2 times the stock one, but it feels solid and I doubt it will break. You'll probably break the stock one before the B&M. As far as C's goes, get one if you got the money. Those are nice and deffinately worth the money.
