I think the wiring diagrams are posted on Apex-i's website. The include the VTM wire corrections for the '98-'99 GSR's . the website is http://www.apexi-usa.com

I think the VTM wire is the pressure signal from the vtec solenoid going into the ecu. You don't really have to hook it up unless you get trouble codes dealing with the vtec solenoid.....

well here's the deal...i hooked it up with the wire and then without it, both times it didn't work. i try to lean out the motor at idle to check and see if the car boggs, that way i know if the damn thing is actually working....no luck.

That wire should not effect the fuel adjustment features. I have the Field VTEC-SFC installed in my DX, and even though the motor isn't VTEC, it will adjust the fuel deliver (and you can tell ... decrease 1% at 1000 RPM and it runs funky!).

The VTM is listed in my Civic manual as the VTEC Pressure Switch.

Default mplex2000

it's listed as the same wire for me too, and thats why im gettin pretty annoyed at this whole thing here. because when i do hook up that wire to the apexi controller, nothing happens. so you guys wanna laugh?......i just got the wires that allow you to monitor the "settings" on the controller. this is what i like to call "riceboy mode".

MMmm ok I installed the VAFC on my 99 Integra GSR (although I had a 98 ECU LOL make sense yet?) I beleive that the Diagram that comes with your VAFC is the correct one. For me there was a discrepency b/w the diagrams in the Box and the ones online. So what your saying is that you cant find the VTM wire? Or you car wont start? Also MAKE SURE you triple check your connections. I had everything hooked up and my car wouldnt start. Later We figured out we had one of the wires crossed (the vtec and the throttle wire i beleive) because they look almost Identical! And then one of the wires were loose. Hope this helps.
