if you have a vtec head, look into the VAFC..it allows you to play with the vtec engagement. All it does is intercepts the MAP signal and tells the computer to add more fuel

The SAFC allows you to fine tune and squeeze more power out of your existing set-up by allowing the user to modify the fuel curve with precision and accuracy. It allows the user to calibrate the fuel system in accordance with performance upgrades as they are installed. The AFC modify's the air flow meter/pressure sensor signal voltage by going to the factory ECU to change the amount of fuel injected. The SAFC has three different modes you can use.... the safc allows you to fine tune in 500 rpm increments. fuel can also be adjusted for part and full throttle situations.you can also correct erratic idle problems with vehicles equipped with open atmosphere blow off valve. the S-afc can also display a variety of data including ... air flow capacity, engine RPM, throttle position, pressure sensor voltage ect.... Hope some of this ionfo helps... The vafc is pretty much the same thing... they just added settings for a vtec head, so you can play with the vtec engagement points!

hope this helps
