Is anyone on here using wheel adapters, i just got mine through but they are designed for VW hole and bolt type hubs as opposed to our lug and nut type.
Having trouble figuring out how to mount them, any help much appreciated.
thanks.

Personally, I would only use a wheel adapter that was hub centric. Since VWs use a different hub size, you'll be forcing the lug studs to carry the full weight if you use those, instead of having a proper hub centric mounting.
To use them anyway, you'll need to find lug nuts that are the same size (or slightly smaller) in diameter as VW bolt heads (to fit in the adapter), and have the same taper angle. Place adapter on hub, install using nuts, add studs to adapter if needed (if they were intended to use with bolts), place wheel on studs, install nuts.
You might also need to either cut down your existing studs, or find shorter ones, depending on the length of lug bolt the adapter was designed to use between it and the hub.

the adapters are 15mm, i cant go any bigger than that, as it stands my finishing offset will be -5.
Im not sure im going to be able to find nuts shallow enough that will sit flush with the surface of the adapter.
I was thinking i could knock the studs out the hub and use bolts through the adapter and hub to a nut on the back??
then use regular porsche bolts to fix the wheels to the adapters.
