Default Anyone using Fightex coilovers?

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with Toda's Fightex coilovers. Anything good/bad besides their steep price. Are they worth the extra few bucks? How easily rebuildable/adjustable are they? Thanks in advance.

I heard they're good. Have you looked into Endless or Teins?

Thanks for the thread willard.

I've looked at both Endless/Zeal, Tein, and JIC. My girlfriend said that she got a price directly from JIC for much less than she can even get wholesale...guess they have quite a few sets sitting around that they need to get rid of for the RSX-S. She also said they'd corner weight my car without charge. So, I am almost certain I'm going to go with the flta2, but I was just wondering how those Fightex c/o's compared to the rest of the market.

One of the things I like about the Teins is that new electronic adjustment module (only $300!!! too) because, in the RSX, unless you cut out the hatch area plastic above the rear suspension (too ghetto for me), it's gonna be a PITA to adjust the rears. Be that as it may, I am definitely interested in a good suspension set up no matter how difficult it might be to adjust.

If anyone is running JIC FLTA2s, please let me know your thoughts on them. Thanks.

If anyone is running JIC FLTA2s, please let me know your thoughts on them. Thanks.

I use to run these up till summer 02, I enjoyed them while I had them. The spring rates I had were 10K front/6K rear, rode just dandy on the streets and I stiffened up the damper at the track. Adjustable bodyheight annoyed me after a while...since I had to take my wheels off everytime, unlike non-adjustable body height coilovers where you just raise the car and raise/lower the perch using the perch tools.

Since I'm such a SUS *****, I sold these JIC's and picked up some used Ohlins from a friend who imports JDM goods.

but over all teh JIC's were great.
sorry for the wack review on them! haha..
