Default anyone ever went throttle by wire?

the new Z has it, the m3 and 330 has it, why not us right

has anyone tried converting their oldschool cable style throttle to electronic?
its seems like you would be able to tune with it better and stuff but you would need some sort of an ecu that would accomodate for that

i was thinking of getting a servo and trying to imitate TBW, by having a "TPS style" sensor mounted on the gas pedal and putting the servo on there butterfly (wher the oval thingy is that throttle cable hooks up to)

then a some sort of a computer can be spliced into the setup to get some benefit out of it.

i was reading a 350z review and they we saying how they loved the TBW and that it all cars shoud be that way.....

do you know any ECU's that can accomodate a TBW setup (can control the throttle by modifying the drivers pedal input depending on the scenario)
