How do i take off the throttle cable off the gas pedal . im putting on a new one and i disconnected from the throttle but i cant take out the cable

 

crawl down to the floorboard and look up at the gas pedal.

Push the pedal all the way down with your hand, which will put slack in the cable. The little **** on the end is rotated around so the wire will slide out of the groove, pretty much the same way as the throttle body end.

The cable goes through a plastic grommet in the firewall. Twist this 90 degrees, and then pull out.
