This is a question about motor swaps. I have a 98' Civic DX that unfortunately is all I could get after my GSR got T-Boned. Anyways I'm in college and I don't have tons of money but I need more power. I want to swap in a D16Z SOHC VTEC motor from my buds del sol. I have 89 integra pistons and rods so that will be added in there to achieve my goal of turbocharging the little motor. I need to know if there is anything out of the ordinary that I have to worry about with the swap. Can I use the OBD 1 ecu in my 98' or do I have to find a OBDIII?? Also will the tranny out of my DX bolt up and is it the same as the EX tranny (better or worse). Really any info at all is all I'm looking for here...help me out.
