Why not just get a shop manual...?

Assuming you have a stock hood, it should say the valve clearance for both intake and exhaust valves. And make sure you do it while the engine is cold, not hot.

Assuming they are the same as a B18A:

Intake: .15mm~.19mm or .006"~.007"
Exhaust: .17mm~.19mm or .007"~.008"

anyone have a for sure answer. not something i want to guess at. Also I do have a Haynes repair manual but in there they say to send it to a machine shop and have a professional do it.

Buy a factory manual, best money you will ever spend on your car.
