Default How much is a valve adjustment and how quick do I need to get it done???

I noticed I have a slight tick coming from my valves. How much is a valve adjustment gonna run me and how quick do I need to get it taken care of? I figure the sooner the better but how vital is it?

If you have any sort of service manual for your car, there will be instructions on how to go about adjusting your valves. If you don't have a manual, I highly suggest that you get one, especially a Helms. It's like a bible. Might even be cheaper than having a shop adjust your valves. HTH.

yeah, valve adjustments are easy. you can do it yourself. as suggested, a helms manual is great to have. but, if you don't want to shell out the dough for it now, go to http://www.c-speedracing.com. on the how to's they have instructions on how to do a valve adjustment. that is for a gsr so if you have an ls, just look under the hood for the proper valve clearance. if for some reason you don't have the proper clearances, hit me up and i'll look in my manual for you. done it before just don't remember the clearance.
