After about 2 hours of screwing with my car (read thread here for more details on my idle problems) I figured something out.

My alternator's probably fucked. How can I check it out? If I turn the CD player, the lights, and the brights on the idle dips down to 700 when the rad fan turns on! But when the accessories are turned off, the idle jumps up to about 900! When the idle's at 750 rpm, the car runs beautifully - idles stoich, drives stoich.

Can anyone help a brutha out?
