I bought an alternator awhile back for a del sol i told them first gen too.... they said b16 of course,,, plus when i got my engine there was no underdrive pulley there so they gave me one from a 94 integra sayin ya ya its al the same . but they fucked up b4 so know there wrong ....

the problem im having is the altnator and the pulley dont line up right and my belt is f*cking getting chewed to f*ck....... so its either the alt is wrong or the pully is wrong can someone help me figure this out ???

i would think maybe you have the wrong alternator.. or the brakets.. or the pulley on the crank is the issue.. can you give us a little more info..

Do you have all the bolts in the alternator.. the lower bolt?

 

brackets came with the engine look fine! maybe im using the wrong alternator!!! it seems bigger throwing off the belt squeeling... and all i can think of maybe its an h22 alt .. i dont know & i dont know if all the alternators are all the same obviously not if im having this toruble....

i just need to know if the alt are all the same b threw H cuz maybe i got a diffent one not for the b16a if nothing else seems to be the problem

 

so what is it they all diff or the same

 

get another b alternator.. and compare.. its that easy... i would guess you have the wrong one
