Default Again: ODB0 to ODB1 Conversion - One more question...

I've searched but no one has answered THIS question:

ODB1 GSR into an '89 Civic Si (ODB0). I've got a P72, ODB1 Dizzy, ODB0 to ODB1 ECU conversion harness.

What about the injectors and resistor box? Can I use this ECU with my ODB0 injectors, clips and resistor box or do I have to eliminate the resistor box, keeping my ODB0 injectors and connectors?

On another note, If I get ODB1 injectors and connectors, can I run the P28 WITHOUT the resistor box?

Thanks!

You keep the obd0 injectors and keep the resistor box in the car..

If your going to use your obd1 injectors then you must remove the resistor box and join all the wires going to it together..

Correct. The OBD conversion has no affect on the injectors. The injector design (Saturated or Peak & hold) is the deciding factor.

coil resistance determines if a resistor box is needed.

use resistor box with peak and hold injectors (1.5-2.5 ohms)
do not use resistor box with saturated injectors (10-13 ohms)
