Default remove the resitor box or not that is the question.

i am going to be putting a b17 into my 88 crx si. to do the swap i was going to keep the obd1 injectors and remove the resistor box. But i am only going to be na for a few months and i want to put in some dsm ijectors. which require a resistor box so i have read. so what should i do? i guess i could always remove the box for a while and when i am finally ready for boost i could put it back in. would this work? another question i have is when i run a resistor box do i have to run an obd 0 ecu? i just don't want to mess up and have to do everthing twice.

just use the obd0 injectors in the b17 and keep the resistor box.

anyone know for sure? what if i put the dsm injectors in they require a resistor box but people use them on obd1 cars all the time. right? so i would think that they still use obd1 ecu's.

You can use the OBD1 ECU in an OBD0 car and not worry about the injectors being OBD0 or DSM. As long as the resistor pack is left in place, you're ok.

The other problem that you'll have is that the OBD1 ECU will require and OBD1 or OBD2 distributor (24 tooth trigger). The OBD1 ECU will not work with an OBD0 distributor (16 tooth trigger).
