Default Aftermarket tach?

What wire do i use off the distrubitor(spell?) to run the tach? i have a dx hatch and it doesnt have a tach to begin with and my dad had one layin around from one of his race cars. So i figured i would put it in there. thanx for the help and if you could give me a pic of where you ran the wire that would be greatly appreciated.

its a blue wire it shouldnt be to hard to find. you can also run it right to your ecu so you dont have any wires going into the engine bay, but i dont know the pin location on the ecu. also on the back of my gauge cluster there is a screw that i can hook the wire for a tach to. i dont know if you have one on your cluster because mine has a factory tach.
