After installing Springs and Struts
Do I need to get an alignment after I install the shocks and struts. The shop is charging me 230+ dollars to install both the Tein S. Tech's and KYB GR-2 struts and give me an alignment..
it is recommended, but i still havent cause all the pro places around me wont do it because my car is lowered. i guess they cant do it right cause it wont match factory specs.
I don't trust my work, besides my family take our cars to the shop and have them do everything for us..besides basic oil changes and whatnot..
230 isn't a bad price for install plus allignment. And yes, allignment should be done.
If I were you....after doing the install, set the tire pressure how you like it, and sit in the car while they allign it.
I never see the point of alligning a car when it's empty. With cargo, or just one driver, the specs go right out. Whenever I allign my car, I either pout weight in the driver seat, or set someone in there
