Nice choice of suspension. get it from tirerack? there not really that hard to install.. u can go to pep boys, napa, autozone, or advanced and get a spring compressor for 30-40 bucks.and if u have an impact driver. id just do it my self. tuffy charged a friend of mine 300 to drop his Scooby

seriously, if you can get access to a garage, it'll take you a whopping 3 hours. thats if your completely inexperienced.

im putting in all the "OH ****" and the "DAMMIT I KNEW I FORGOT THAT" and the" HOW THE **** DID THAT GET THERE" time.

Yeah bro, if you've got some tools and a couple of hours some pretty Saturday afternoon, then do it yourself, have some fun, learn a lil somethin' about your car, and put the couple hundred bux you would have paid a shop to do it for you towards some go-faster goodies

Around 2-3 hrs. Fronts are easier than the rears.

This was the first thing i learned how to do (besides basic bolt ons), and after doing it 6 times on four cars, i must have saved almost $1000. Definitely learn and do it yourself

Yes you need a compressor. It will take 3-4 hours. Especially if you're by yourselft. Bolts will be seized and break. Be ready.

You can do it without but it is dangerous and really not recommended by anyone. I have done it...once...the other times I got the compressor.

He wont need a spring compressor because hes going to smaller springs and not taking apart the OEM ones. Ive done this 100's of times with no spring compressor.

I just lowered my car and one thing that is VERY important to know is that you need to lubricate all of the bolts that you plan on removing BEFORE you even touch them with a socket. I had a bolt snap off in my rear lower control arm and it was a BITCH to get out. Make sure you hit that with some penetrating fluid before you pull it out and you'll be fine. Other than that, it's pretty easy and you should do it yourself.

actually he will need a spring compressor because he has to get the stock assembly apart to re-use the stock hat.

NO he won't, just loosen the strut nut on the top and the assembly will POP in the car......then just undo everything, take old stuff off and put new stuff on ........NO SPRING COMPRESSOR NEEDED!

i did mine without a spring compressor and let me tell you it was some scary **** . Espescially my front ones I did without an impact gun. The parts from the shock went flying halfway across my yard. I ended up having to stick something in front of the shock to take the impact of the parts when the spring pops. Don't do What I did
