something else, my buddy had a aem V2 on his ej1 and it got a holw worn into it from it rubbing the clutch line bracket. the intake was install correctly, but it was a design flaw that caused the damage. aem was called, they knew about the problems the intakes were causing, but they wouldnt take it back. so my buddy now is rolling with the password intake.

Ebay intake, filter of your choice, and slap an aem sticker on that bitch and see how many people you fool. I did that, and no one ever noticed (or atleast said anything) lol. Infact a friend who bought an aem intake it looked identical, except no carb sticker.

I also had a AEM rub a hole through the intake. Mine was a CAI for an EG. Contacted AEM and they aknowledged the problem is very common. They suggested I get a rubber hose from Home Depot. This is the same thing as admitting that their kit is missing a piece. But they did not honor their warranty. That company is a big piece of ****. Just look at their cam gears, brake kits etc. All pure ****.
