AEM EMS and switching between two maps with a switch?
The case is like this...
Sleeved B16A2 CP 9:1, Neukin Equal Manifold, Precision SC34, TiAL 44mm Wastegate, 3" downpipe... AEM EMS, GM boost solenoid etc..
Because of law regulations in hp I want a high/low hp map/setting avaliable just flipping a switch in my car.... maks 184whp and 400whp pluss...
You can read about why i want this, here:
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1112419
Can the AEM EMS have two maps with different settings etc, switched between with a swich? One map the pleases me and one map that pleases the government?
Can the AEM EMS change the boost level the same time it switches between the maps?
Any suggestions/comments?
I must have a switch which does the job, because the technicans which is stopping cars to check them in traffic co-op with the cops... And if the technicans find anything suspicious the cops will escort me to the testing facility, and on the way i am not allowed to do any adjustments.... But if i have a switch under the streering wheel or something i can just flip it when i see them and everything is ok before i stop...

I know you can have two maps on the aem ems and switch between the two, the ems can also control the boost with their system they sell, i dont think you can do it with a switch tho.
You would have to have a laptop, and load "sad power" calibration, when needed you can hook the laptop back up and load the "mad power" calibration. if the computer is one you and switch between the two in just a min or so, theres that serial cable that runs to the ecu.
with the stock ecu i think you can do as you just said... if you have a chipped honda ecu or maybe even hondata (dont know if its like the stock ecu). with the power off you can remove the J1 jumper (or install a switch) and the ecu runs off the stock chip and with the jumper on it runs the aftermarket chip.
beats me... dont know if i helped any. if anything you can get two computers and plug the one in you want to run, thats kinda sneeky, i think the laptop and cable might give away what your doing.

You can't, nor would it be useful to do so, or else AEM would have incorporated such a feature by now. Think about it, you only need a power map when at 100% throttle. Even stock ECU's ignore the O2 sensor etc and run on a rich map when you have the pedal all the way down. Just tune for a 14.7 AFR for all except wide open throttle. If you knew more about tuning an EMS you wouldn't even be asking this question. Take your car to a dyno shop that also tunes for drivability.
There is plenty of boost control built into the EMS so that it can make compensations for when it measures an increase in boost. No need to switch to a whole new map.

When they go to test his car id guess they would floor it ect, if the ems was tunned for 400hp on 20psi and then he turns the boost down to 8 when they do to test the fuel map on the ems will be way too rich?? right i had the 30-1000 and when i tunned it you had to be pretty close to perfect or it ran like crap. I had a 8psi calibration and 16 psi calibration
