AEM EMS . . .
My friend just told me there was a guy putting out high 200's before he went into the shop, and left with low 500's just from tuning for 4 hours on aem ems, im just curious is this true, cause that is some ridiculous numbers.
I was there.....
First pull, no tuning, 10lbs of boost, 280something whp
four pulls later, 15lbs, 502whp
I dont recall all the work done on the car, I know it was a GSR motor.

Most stand-alones can do the samething. I would not say just because of that AEM is "worth" it. I mean, it could have been done on hondata/crome/neptune.
I was not there, so I can not comment on all of the facts.

My friend has achieved similar miracles. It's not like an aftermarket ECU gives you that power. On a stock motor, the gains are relatively small (although I've seen gains of 10-15 hp when the only mods were I/H/E). The more modified it is, the more impact tuning is going to have on the final output.
Just bumping up the fuel pressure or adding larger injectors is no substitute for real tuning.
