Default Advantages of going from OBDII-OBDI?

What are some of the advantages of switching to OBDI other than one O2 sensor and the capability of chipping? Im running a 99 EX ecu with my minie-me setup (complete 99 EX wiring harness), and right now Im throwing a secondary O2 sensor code because its not even hooked up(no bunge and no cat). Would it even be worth it for me to convert to OBDI with a P28 or should I just get an O2 simulator wired n to "trick" the ECU? I can see the advantages of OBDI for B-series because of the chipping capabilities but I havent seen many progroms for SOHC. I do plan on Running a Zex kit for a while until I save up for boost. Thanks

Chipping is the reason.

All ECU's act the same way. Just add fuel and VTEC crossover at different points.

What is easier for you to do, add an O2 simulator or re-wire everything?
