adv. 15 degrees ???

Default adv. 15 degrees ???

i just baught a timming gun from the local auto store and it reads that im 15degree advanced . isnt that a lot? that really scared me, but the motors been like this since i baught it. i just never checked the timming untill now. is this a lot or am i reading it wrong or what. i dont want to drive it if its going to hurt the motor. please help

Are you sure its not reading that your timing is at 15 degrees and not 15 degrees advanced over stock? Stock timing should be at 16 +/- 2 degrees.

that is the right timing. 15-16* advanced is what is should be. honda's idle at 16* advanced timing
