i bought an Accel 300+ ignition and external coil second-hand, and didnt recieved the installation instructions with it. there is a sticker on the back that tells you where to wire everything to, but there is a white wire that is supossed to run to the "points/transistor". this is the wire that has me stumped. i dont know if i am supposed to wire it to the ignitor or what??? so if anyone is running one of these and has wired one up, or if anyone has a link to the wiring diagram i would appreciate the help. you can also email me at unsungsohc@hotmail.com. thanks.

 

You will only use the mag pickup wires or the white points wire not both.

 

the mag wires on mine are snipped off, so assuming i am going to use the white points wire. where does it go to ????? or would it be better to not run the white wire and use the other 2 wires??? if i were to do that which wires would they go to on the distributor??

 

yea use the to mag pickup wires. They will connect to one of the pickups in the distributor. But I don't know exactly which ones. It should be the pickup that has 4 point reluctor ring.

 

k i will look into that some more. anybody else out there ever install one of these on a honda/acura????? anybody have a wiring diagram or link to one????? thanks
