first off i have a 00' d16y8 in my 98 HX.

Every once and a while when i start my car and leave it running for a while...We'll hear some disturbing noises and my engine'll start to smoke...

The smoke is coming from around the AC Compressor, and there is coolant below it and it seems to have squirted over onto my manifold (which is probably wahts smoking). Any ideas as to what is causing this/what can fix this?

Oh, and my AC never gets cold...i have no idea whats up...help please.

 

maybe a bad water pump

a/c system needs to be inspected. bad pump, needs charge, clogged receiver drier. too many possibilites.
