99 Honda Civic DX Automatic Gauge Cluster Dead
I have a 1999 Honda Civic DX Automatic Hatchback and the Temp/Speedometer/Gas Gauge is not working...dead.I have other issues with car which I will address later in detail once I get advice on this one.Just went to a Japanese Auto Repair place and the quote to just check whats wrong with it is already around $90, with repair it will be total $500...yikes.I don't know anything about fixing stuff in cars so I NEED HELP and Advice.I have researched the web and I have read I should try and replace Fuse Number 25 and maybe 15??? first before paying for the repair by a mechanic. Also I need a new battery(its down to 117) wondering if that is also part of the problem.Any advice would be greatly appreciated.I have looked at the Fuse Diagram and the fuse 25(Alternator SP Sensor) is located directly below the Front Windshield Wiper Fuse and its 7.5A???
I don't have the that kind of money right now to get mechanic to fix it.It will be awhile before I can save that much. Thanks Alot

If you don't have the money to spend, perhaps you have the time to CLEARLY articulate you problem. When did it start? What was the last thing done before the problem started? What engine is in the car?
based on your incoherent information, I have seen a LOT of people that remove the O2 sensor from the vehicle, only to have to short out in the car, or worse, people cut the connector off and tape it, leading to a short of the ALT SP SENSOR fuse.
Take your time to post, typing in a single paragraph is like typing in all caps: ITS UNREADABLE!!!
