Default 98 civic hatch GM 3bar map install

the information given on hondata.com is for an older generation civic. None of it matches to my car. I do not get the voltage that hondata calls for. My one wire is a different color. instead of white its red/green.

GND A Green/White
MAP signal B White - (mine is red/green)
5V C Yellow/Red

i put my meter in the way they say, ground(green/white) and map signal(red/green). I get a negative effect. I swap the meter around and only get a .5v signal from the "map signal" wire. I then test the "5v" signal and get a 1v signal from that. So at this point im lost so i touch the meter NEG to the batt. neg and then touch the POS to each wire.. i get a 12.5V signal from each wire! whats goin on here? are these 3 wires all POS?

someone with a 6th gen civic and GM 3bar map HELP!!!
