wheel rub or axle binding?
I have an eg9 with an h22a. The suspension is Weapon R coilovers with koni adjustable shocks.
I have a problem, when I go on a bump or make a right turn I hear and feel a violent bumpy rubbing sound coming from the front driver-side wheel area. The car is lowered and I don't know if it is wheel rub or axle binding. Can raising the car solve the problems. Will raising the car cause the car to need alignment?

well usually when u heard clicking sound, its the axles, not rubbing..but if rubbing sound then its prob. the tires are rubbing the fender...raise the car and see...and yes u need an alignment..but did u even get one when the car was lowered..?
If it's rubbing, take off the tire and look for marks on the tire or in the fender well. It could just need a little 5lb adjustment tool or it could be something that can't be moved. Wheel offset could also be the problem. The right combination of offset and tire size can make the tire too tight to the suspension or inside face of the fender well.
it's actually a strong vibration. I boght the car and don't think that it was alligned when it was dropped. I will raise it back to stock hight.
How high is stock hight? How do you measure the hight?
thanks for the replys.
