Default 97 EX Cat vs. 99 Si Cat

Need to know if a 97 EX catalytic converter is the same as 99 Si's.

Part numbers:
99 Si 18160-P2P-A00
99 EX 18160-P2P-A00
97 EX 18160-P2R-A00

Just wondering if it's just a chassis code difference or if the parts are different. I have someone interested in purchasing one of my spare 99 Si cats for his 97 EX. As far as i can tell the parts are the same, just a difference in chassis code. 99 Si and 99 EX share the same part.
