Default Stock 99 civic Ex cat with a 99 si...

hey guys, I was wondering if a stock 99 ex cat will work with a 99 si? Have to smog my car soon and can't seem to find an si cat

they have the same part number, so I'm assuming that means they're the same.

Luckily I one for $250 rebuilt...needed one for smog...but now I just take the new cat out and put it back on when I need to smog...Dang the cats wit the 02 senors in them are expensive...good luck

it will work. I have a 00 Si cat on my 98 ex. The only major difference is on the ex cat the o2 sensor placement is more towards the rear while the si cat is more towards the middle.
