Hi guys,
I recently bought a 97 civic dx 5spd. and am having some trouble with it. I was getting an secondary o2 sensor and failed ecu codes causing a check engine light. I noticed no o2 or cat. I put both on. The problem I am having is when I start the car cold, it idles around 2000 rpm. When it warms up it does not go down. It will however go down when I shut it off warm and restart it. It then will idle around 1000 rpm. Also when driving as I pull up to a stop it is idles around 2000 rpm and takes a second or two to come back down to normal. It always does this. It does not due it if you just rev the motor sitting still, only moving. It also seems to idle all over the place sometimes. I have recently cleaned the IACV. It really did not help the issue. Second question is about the ecm. If it is bad and I have to replace it, do I have to put the exact one in? Example, mine is a P2E L02. This is a california emissions one. Can I use another P2E as long as it is for a 5 speed? I don't even know if the one in my car is the original. Any help would be greatly apreciated.

I had reset the computer and the only code I am getting is a P1107. Baro sensor low input.... What is this???? Where is this???

 

it should be located inside your ecu and if thats the problem youll need a new ecu....
