diagnostics help please!!
okay question of the day guys!
i have a 95 civic dx, 1.5L sohc no vtec.
car was sitting at stop light, pressed the gas and car dies. then restarts for 30 ft. and dies again.... towed into my work. one of the spark plug wires was popped off the plug because there was so much oil inside. so i replaced all plugs and wires as well as the valve cover gasket kit. (i dried plugs out very well before removing them if that matters). then the car still would not start... checked for spark..nothing. so instead of messing around with it i just replaced the entire distributor. then it made a putting noise from the exhaust but still would not start. so i guessed fuel and replaced the filter for a cheap fix still nothing. then compared firing orders to another civic on the lot and google gave me the wrong firing order....so with the correct order in place the car now starts..HOWEVER!!!! has little to no acceleration... i brake torqued it and had felt stuff coming from the tail pipe and a rotten egg oder. so i had the converter replaced today! and still same problem... so i pulled the muffler off and it was full of converter chunks....still would not run right with out muffler....so i disconnected the exhaust from just after the O2 sensor and the manifold and still has no acceleration!!! so my last best guess would be that i have either f**ked up the instal on the distributor or the timing belt jumped a few teeth....but my next question is the how would i still have compression of about 130-150 in all 4 cylinders if the timing is off?!?!?

sorry for the long post but i am at my wits end with this thing and have put plenty of time and money into it so please any help would be deeply appreciated! thanks in a advance!

Compression has nothing to do with timing.
Confirm valve timing is correct, confirm firing order, [1342] looking into engine bay, cylinder 1 is on the right., is correct, confirm "electrical" is correct.
Do a fuel pressure test. 94
