Default 95 DB8 overheating issue

ok so i have a 95 gsr sedan with over heating problem..
it has:
ebay half size radiator and slim fan
godspeed turbo setup with painted intercooler
no a/c at all in the bay
new thermostat
new coolant (vacuumed the air out of the cooling system before filling)
still has the heater/hoses
bypassed the IACV coolant
no iacv/map/purge/iat chip(q31) in the ECU (burnt it up then fixed the wiring issue)
1000 injectors

its getting really hot (3/4 of the way up then i shut it off and allow it to cool)
any info about what may cause this heating would be greatly appreciated..

My first guess is going to be the ebay radiator and slim fan. Do you have to run the slim fan because of the turbo kit, or could you use a factory fan? Also do you have the fan pulling the air instead of pushing the air?

i have the slim fan and radiator due to the turbo setup.. its pulling air and pulls pretty damn good. i do notice the air HAS TO go through the intercooler to get to the radiator. im going to start with stripping the paint off it and adding water wetter to the cooling system.. after that im wrapping the exhaust mani and down pipe.
