95 Civic Speedo Trouble!
Ok, I have a 95 Honda Civic EX and the spedoeter stoppped working and I have no idea how to fix it. I've replaced the gauge cluster and nothing happened. (Mind you, it's only the MPH gauge that doesn't work.) I have also replaced the VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) and it still did nothing. It use to bounce around when it first started happening and I would be going 20 MPH and it would jump to 100 MPH. But now it just stays at a dead 0 MPH. I don't know what else to do. Can anyone help, or have any suggestions??
Sounds like a wiring issue.
1. Check for continuity between the cluster and the VSS.
2. Check for 12v power at the VSS.
3. Check the to make sure the ground wire at the VSS has a good connection.

my boi had a hatch wiff the same problem and he had a bad speedo cable gear in the tranny, u can try replace the speedo cable too since thats the only thing that dosent work on the cluster sounds like it could be the cause.
