91 obd0 obd1 alternator

does anyone know if a alternator from a d16z6 or any d series that is obd1. will that work on a 88-91 civic with a stock d15 in it?

You have to use the alt. that your cars wiring harness is set up for. If you have an 88-91 civ, you have to use that year range alt. If you have a 92+ wiring harness you gotta use the 92+ alt...

in my b18a my obd1 harness plugged right into my b18a alternator.
put a y8 in a 90 hatch this weekend. pluges were different so had to use obd0 alt
