91 civic won't start
Car died while on highway. Checked serveral things already to see what was wrong. Fuel tank full and appears to be getting fuel to engine. Replaced rotor, distributor cap and plugs. Found that the screw that holds the rotor on had fallen out and thought we had figured out the problem...but the car still will not start.
Other suggestions have been to test the coil and ignitor. Can anyone tell me how to test these ?

sounds like icm. girlfriends civic did the same thing while she was in the middle of a left hand turn (great timing!) and that's what it was. you can go to your local honda dealership and they should be able to print out a sheet for you on how to test it. could also be coil or main relay but i'd bet it's the icm.
Thank you for your reply. While I was waiting on a reply...I did some more research and found that if the car was being turned over without the distributor cap on (in my case without the rotor turning that it would cause the coil to absorb all the spark and burn out). I put a new coil in and it started right up. Problem solved !
