Have a 91 civic hatch dx with a d16z6 swap running a chipped p28 when I turn the key to on position "II" the main relay clicks like its priming the fuel well it doesn't stop the fuel pump just keeps pumping gas. Please help trying to get this figured out ASAP thanks

Bump really need to figure this out ASAP I've replaced main relay and problem still occurs...

 

Pretty sure the Ecu grounds the main relay for 2 seconds at start up, it's probably the Ecu or the wire for it is shorted to ground

 

Okay man I'll give it a shot 1st thing tomorrow I'll let you know if it works or not

 

Bump, changed ecu and looked around for open or loose wires didn't see anything anyone know what wires trace over to main relay to control fuel pump priming??? Thanks guys

 

Green/black wire is the wire that grounds the relay from the Ecu, the yellow/black sends power to the fuel pump. If the green/black wire is shorted to a ground it will cause the relay to keep sending power to the pump. If the yellow/black wire is shorted to power it will also cause the pump to run. The yellow/black wire also runs to the main fuel injector, and aux injector. FYI
