Default not getting power to fuel pump

alright so i just did a wire tuck on a 97 gsr and now it turns over but im not getting any fuel. i check at the pump and not getting 12v. so i check the main relay and im getting 12v from the grn/blu wire which is coming from the ecu (aka fuel pump relay wire). but the yel/grn wire that goes to that pump itself. isent getting 12v. now i have replaced the main relay but i dont think that, that was the problem. everthing else checks out but the pump just isent getting power. now my question is, is the wire from the ecu to the relay supposed to read high or low. meaning is it supposed to read 12v or read a ground. im almost positive that the ecu has to trigger the relay to make the fuel pump come on. so if you have input on anything that i can check or anything at all would be great. im really stumped. sorry for the long post just wanted to give u guys as much info as i could. thanx

You should not be getting 12V+ from the ECU, [green/blue] the ECU supplies the fuel pump relay with a ground, what you are reading is the 12V+ on the other side of the fuel pump relays coil.

Is there 12V+ on the black/yellow lead, fuse 24 -15A (20A on GSR & Type R) [hot in run and start]?

Is there 12V+ on the blue/white lead, fuse 18 - 7.5A, [hot when starting]

Is there 12V+ on the yellow/black lead, [12V+ output from injector relay when ign. in run or start]?

Is there 12V+ on the yellow/white lead, fuse 31 - 15A, [hot at all times]?

What lead are you jumping from to get the fuel pump to work? 94

Default Re: not getting power to fuel pump

yes to all of this. but were not getting the low from the grn/blu from the ecu. for the fuel pump to kick on. what sensors are necessary. i have taken out abs, srs, ps, ,ac and cc. i have also taken out the oil pressure sensor and replace it with a gauge. so would any of this effect this. so what input am i missing from the ecu. or do i have a bad ecu ?
