Default 89 CRX B16 Problems (Dizzy)

K, I have an 89 CRX, just did a full multi port swap, including dash and engine harness. Tried to crank the car over, it cranked, but no spark to the wires. I have a brand new dizzy, and wires. I took the cap off, I am getting power to the Coil, but nothing to the spark plug. What all problems are occuring?? Should I check my main relay or would that have anything to do? There are no ECU codes being throw, since I have not had the car running (or does it matter). OBD0 B16 FYI.

Thanks for anyhelp.

your getting power to the coil.. so it's either your coil or your ignitor..90% of the time its gonna be the coil..get a good known coil and swap em, unless you have a test light and know which wire to probe to see if the ignitor is sending the signal....Just get a known working coil and go from there..

Well, we used the test light, cranked the car over and there was no change in the light, unless there isn't supposed to be. We are going to try a different dizzy today and go from there.

Anyone else??

Oh, didnt see that in his post.. Whenever you see the phrases DPFI-MPFI and no spark its a natural reaction to say "swap the white wires"..

Yeah, well, still nothing yet. We are gonna try a dist. from a different CRX with a B16, and check the wiring on it. We did the other car 8 months ago, and no problems. I guess once we check this other CRX, we should find the problem on the original CRX.
