Default is 84mm possible?

just for my own piece of mind i figured i would ask everyone else

Is it possible at all to bore a b18a one block to 84mm with stock sleeves with a block gaurd and it be safe? has anyone done it before? i just want to know...

82mm is the absolute limit on stock sleeves...

they get very thin and won't last long at all, at some point you will wear down past the iron and the rings just wont seal... not sure at what bore that happens...

ok but taking it to 84mm is pretty much unheard of on stock sleeves correct?

yeah! notice how nobody else is answering your question? It's cause people have asked many times before and most people just got sick of answering the question, stick around long enough, you'll see someone else ask in a few weeks or so lol... but yeah, if it was possibly companies like GE/ERL/Darton/Benson/AEB would not be in business and we would all have 84mm bores

it's more like, people aren't that dumb to try it. Wouldn't be a reason for them to.
