Default 360 exhaust clamps: do they work?

I'm going turbo in the summer and am thinking about making a small "race" exhaust. My plan was to do a 3" dp --> 3" flex pipe --> 3", 18" long resonator --> 3" turndown.

I saw these exhaust clamps used for butting two 3" pipes together: http://store.summitracing.com/...33278

Would they work fine for my setup?

I would not recommend it unless for strictly racing but if you develop leaks from them it would be harder to fix.

Here is an example of how I want to do my exhaust. I want two of these one for right in front of rear axle and the other so I can go between a 3" downpipe and swith back over to NA if need be. but here is a link to an example.

They are kinda expensive but if durable then worth it.
