will 2.25" exhaust work for turbo?
I want to get this 2.25" exhaust but all the downpipes i see are 2.5" and bigger so I'm worried I will have to get a bigger exhaust when I go turbo. Turbo goal is 300-350hp. Motor is a ZC.

I'm not sure of my goal yet. It might only be 250hp. Do I need to get the same size exhaust as downpipe? If so there any 2.25 downpipes?

to the exhausts i make i prefer not to go down smaller dia and have the same dia to all the exhaust.. but also no big deal if the exhaust is slightly smaller than the downpipe.
even for 250 hp the 2.25 is small. There is not gonna be a problem using 2.25 to 250hp engine but you are gonna loose 10-15hp at high rpm...

Re: will 2.25" exhaust work for turbo?
I was running the invidia catback system with my full race 3" dp which is 2.3" or so diameter and making over 400whp with no problems. I didn't notice the big of an increase in power maybe 20-30 when I switched to a 3". The thing to watch for with exhausts is the rear muffler how small does it get inside? I have seen some that get real small less than 2" and that you don't want. I think people tend to forget the most imports part is right after the turbo as it gets further down the gasses start to cool. Gas expansion rate is exponential and as it cools it looses a lot of volume. I think after you get into the 400s hp you it wouldn't hurt to start looking at 3". Just my 2 cents, your money would be better spent else where.
