3 wire iacv to 2 wire.
i tried searching but came to no solution...i'm still in the process of searching as i type, but i figure i put my problem up and hopefully someone can help me.
I have a 00 euro r h2b in my 93 hatch,
the motor has a 3 wire iacv and my harness obviously is a 2 wire...what do i have to swap/splice to make it work...thanks!

okay, so in my search I found that its simple to do a 2 wire iacv with a 3 wire harness...but no info on a 3 wire iacv on a 2 wire system, I read a lot of "it can't be done".
the only difference I could see electrical wise between the 2 is a ground wire...would it be possible to just wire the power signal and ground out the 3rd wire?
I'm going to try this when I get home...but any input would be appreciated...thanks.

it prob would be easier to swap the whole harness from the old motor and put it on the new one or you can get a custom harness made and save you from headaches lol. GL.

yea i found a million of these posts, unfortuanly i have an obd1 car, and thats for a 2 wire iacv to work with a 3 wire harness system.
ive tried grounding out that last wire, and it was a no go.
i also noticed that the black part of the iacv the part that has the clip has 2 screws on it..could that possibly be swapped with some other iacv of the same sorts, only with a 2 wire plug attached??
i dunno how i'm gonna get this iacv to work on the euro r...how do people with euro r intake manifolds run iacv in odb1 cars??? thanks!
