but again. I don't see the sense in buying another motor just to send it out and build it for a turbo. BENSON for Sleeves, and Headgames Motorworks for the head job and Ferrea valvetrain -- why not take the shot motor (if it is usable) and have it built. I don't see the sense in buying a motor to only build it.

 

If the motor is really bad you will end up spending more money making the block and head useable than just buying new, I would think.

You should probably open the motor up to see whats going on, and then decide what to do instead of thinking it is reusable and then being dissapointed if it is not.

at least that is an answer and a good answer! I will have the head off tonight. Pics will be up in a week or so. I have to take them and get them devopled on a disk so I can put them on here. My dig camera is broke, my mom dropped it.

 

here you go - I am developing the pics right now.


For the block - the number one piston didn't have hole in it, HELL there was not even a number 1 piston. the ******* gone. And for the number 1 pistons wall. That little guy is in about 5 pieces. But the other 3 are fine.

For the head - all valve look normal to me except for those damn number one piston vavles. One of those are MIA and the other are all messed up. I do not know what you call the part where the valves stick out from the head. The surface where all the valves come out is all mangled up.

First you must host them to a site such as we todd did or imagestation.com then click the larger version of the pic then right click that and copy the url from the properties of the pic. Come back to HT, "post" click teh picture of a mountain and paste the url btwn the two "IMG]image.jpg[/IMG]" and voila! there are pics. I hope you understood what I just said...I know it looks kinda confusing but it's really really simple.

 

If you want you can send the pics to me and I will host and post them for you just to see this mess.
