Default GOOD EXHAUST????

I've been searching around for a good sounding exhaust for my 01 teg. I make a lot of HWY trips and DOn't want a drone at highway speeds. I've been reading and searching. I'm thinking about the Greddy evo2 and a MAgnaflow catback.
PLEASE give me some help!!

this topic has been repeated over and over again, so you might want to search for 'quiet exhaust' and read all of the threads. But, if you want something quiet, get an RSR Exmag catback, only $413 on Groupbuycenter.

You could pass smog with any muffler, your catalytic converter and the way your engine is running is more important in passing smog. If you mean you need a stock looking muffler to pass visual inspection, just get a cheap *** autozone replacement on bolt it onto your piping, then take it off after.

Well, if you want an exhaust with low interior noise, you can try the RSR Exmag, as I mentioned. You could also try putting another resonator onto your existing piping, and keep the magnaflow. I have had many exhausts on various cars, the quietest I ever had was an old school HKS on a 91 EF hatch. Even the exhausts that were supposed to be relatively modest (Tanabe Hyper and Greddy Evo) were pretty loud and definitely had some interior noise.
