traveling so had to park outside in minus 20 degrees.
next morning engine wouldn’t turn over or even attempt to turn.
push button start- local dealer indicated this is a common problem with new pilots and it needs to be towed in and thawed overnight
anyone else aware of this or have ideas?
Its been 2 days since I’ve called Honda emergency hotline and unfortunately since we are in a code red area due to the extreme cold, AAA cannot update with ETA for a tow to dealer.
we are stuck away from home and would welcome any advice.
I put battery on charger to make sure it is ready to go but still stuck
help please

We were just on vacation and got stranded due to the same problem. We had to have the vehicle towed twice in 2 days to melt the ice around the starter. This is a dangerous problem in extreme cold and Honda should have a factory recall to encase/protect the starter from ice accumulation.
