i bought a lude from the guy with a blown head gasket. He claimed it was not over heated. Pulled off the head it was warped got it machined found war page on the block inner two cylinders. Should I risk putting head back on without machining the block?use any gasket sealer? I'm 2000 into it and might just sell if she runs and revs

 

It would start and run even if there was warp damage to the block, you would just get sealing issues. That being said, I believe it would have taken some pretty serious heating to warp the block with the head, as usually damage to the head happens first so you might be lucky enough to be good. Have you checked the block to see if it's straight? Pretty easy process

 

Just check with a presision ruler ? The block is off .03 which is just out of the tolerance of the head gasket .

 

I hope you mean .003", .030" is hugely out of flatness.
