2 block guard questions

when metal heats they expand. well i just placed a block guard in my b18b turbo. it was nice and tight (stop giggling u sick-os). im thinking ok when my stock cylinder and my block guard expands due to normal heat...am i gonna have a problem? im worried cuz theres absolutely no play in my blockguard.

how do i take out the block guard thats in my block? i got it in but i may decide to pull it off before my build is done (might chicken out of using blockguard). i cant get anything to pull it out, its about 1/4 inch beneath top of block and cant get anything to pull it out with. am i fucked?
