1993 LS Suspension!
Does Anyone know of a kick *** coilover that i can install into a 1993 integra ls? The car has a turbo, and the suspension can not keep up. My budget is about $2000 if that helps or means anything.. Is there anything else i should get to go alond with the coilovers? does anyone make strut top bearings to go along with the coilovers or struts. any help will be greatly appreciated.. thanks..

I got a complete coil over kit with shortened rod struts with a rear way bar for my 90 teg for about $1400 from Progress. The shortened rods maintain suspension travel on a lowered vehicle better than stock struts. It's quite firm. I think you would be happy, I am.
thank you, i will follow up on them. Who did you get yours from? Does anyone else run these?
When i talked with Tein they said that they may have something coming out in the next few months or towards the end of summer. Does anyone have any more information about this?
thanks

Thanks Clyde.. i know there is nothing curently available for my car from tein. what else is there? I'd like to know more about the Progress stuff. It sounds pretty cool, but im concerend with the lack of adjustability.. i know you can adjust the ride hight, but they dont say anything about the RIDE. Does anyone know if you can adjust the Firmness of the progress coilovers?
Thanks

I got a short term plan: Buy some Ground Control coilovers 300 dollars take your stock struts off go to junk yard get some GS-R struts (pretty much the same) swap the struts keep the stock u will need them later!!! im about to do this to my GS-R in about 2 weeks! It will work!

The damping is not easily adjustable. The struts from Progress are user serviceable and can be revalved for different damping. I suppose you could order them to suit your needs but as far as day to day damping adjustment ... not possible. I think Koni or KYB makes a dial-a-damping adjustable shock. Also, if you do go with the Progress stuff, they will feel rock hard for a week or so, and then will mellow out. It is definitely not a stock ride though. Get a camber kit if you want aggressive lowering, and get ready for a car that handles like a slot car.
Thanks Filetofit, I talked with a Tein dealer today and they said that Tein will be coming out with a coilover for my car in a month or two. Do you think that it will be worth the wait? thanks

That's sweet that tein's coming out with a product for us g2'ers. I've heard the progress stuff is a little soft. And I don't think I'd pay $1200+ for non-adjustable dampers. Does anyone know if you can order custom rate springs with the progress c/o's or the teins or both?

They may be expensive I don't know but they are well made. The shock bodies are machined billet. As for being soft, to each his own, but I'll tell you this, they make my in dash CD player skip.
Do the Teins have a shorter shock body? 'Cause if you lower a lot you will bottom out a stock height damper much more easily.
