"AIR FILTER", Which one to use ?????????
so i'm running a CAI (AEM) on my 98 GSR. the intake didn't come with a filter, since i have the choice which one do i go with. Each one of these companys claim different Horsepower, i just want a good filter. any ideas?
i just switched from my injen filter that came with the intake to a weapon r with velocity stack....foam filters own for flow...not the best at filtering but make great power....and with the built in velocity stack u cant lose
i forgot what mag but they did a test of a bunch of filters. apexi filter won for best whp and cleaniness. the Hks filter sucked i remember. K & N was in the competition too, i just remember apexi won.
aem produces there own filter in house. They are rated 98% air flow efficent. The K&N filter is rated at 94%. I know this because our company is an aem warehouse and the C.E.O. of AEM came out to visit us in person. Great stuff and if you already have a aem cold air why would you change the set up? They dyno tune everything they develope. Just my .02
